Wow!!!! What a team performance!!

Justin did a great job in goal and kept a well deserved clean sheet. Are you watching Rob Green??

Ben & James are forming a 'formidable' partnership in defence. Ben's tackling was great and James had fantastic positional play and was always in the right place at the right time to stop attacks on our goal.

Daniel & Neil were excellent on the right and left of midfield. Both had strong runs going forward and were also competitive in the tackle. Neil was unlucky not to score in the first half.

Billy & Aaron took turns in the centre of midfield. Billy made some really important interceptions and was always looking to make a pass to start an attack. Aaron was unlucky when his free kick hit the bar but he opened the scoring with a great long shot. His second and our third goal was a 'tad lucky' when an even longer shot deflected off the goalkeeper and into the net.

Jonathon again showed his pace and skill upfront and scored Bury's second goal with a clinical finish. He was denied a brilliant second goal when his shot, with the outside of his right foot, came back off the post.

It was perhaps fitting that the scoreline was a complete reversal of the match in March. Both matches were extremely close and the aggregate score of 3-3 is a true reflection of the two games.

Thank you to all the boys for the outstanding efforts this season. Big thank you also to all the parents and supporters who have followed our team all over Hertfordshire!!

Have a great summer and look forward to next season.

Well done

Richard

ps Thank you to Santi for being our ref and Lucy for being our Coach
