postheadericon Bengeo Tigers v Bury ‘whites’

Written by Webmaster | PDF | Print | E-mail

This match got off to a very quick start, with Daniel scoring a great quality goal within the first two minutes of play.  With good attack from Bengeo however, an equaliser was scored shortly after.  Ben produced some excellent,  fearless tackling throughout the match, with Jono running athletically down the line to pass and support his team wonderfully.

Billy produced some excellent passing and soon within the first half of play, Neil scored a cracker of a goal to make Bury one up.  After excellent defending, Ben had his turn to sit out, and James came on.  Bury had really got into the swing of things by now, working really hard as a team, making sure they were all in their correct positions throughout.  James really supported here.  He became a great tactician, really helping to make sure this happened at all the right times.  Aaron produced some fantastic, strong strikes with a number of impressive free kicks, and Jono had some great shots at goal before scoring a fantastic goal.  Jacob, in the Bury goal, stopped the Tigers from scoring again, by producing a lovely, stretched save:  quality.  4-1 at half time.

The second half again produced some fantastic  football.  Bury showed great determination and commitment with both excellent defending and attacking throughout.  The Tigers scored their second and final goal, but an ‘own goal,’ before Ben scored a real beauty of a goal from a great distance-a 100 yards at least-incredible.  With great team work, skill and knowledge, the Whites notched up a further three impressive goals, another from Jono, Neil and Aaron.  All in all, a really exciting, lively match-the team and manager can be really proud of the boy’s positive attitude, commitment and communication throughout.
