Natwest Community Awards
Bury Rangers FC have had our application for a £3000 Natwest Community Awards 2011 successfully processed and is now ready to be voted on.
Our application is to receive funding to finish the Presdales clubhouse and also to provide a decking area for spectator viewing, allowing parents to watch their children play football and cricket throughout the year. The clubhouse and decking is part of a joint venture between Bury Rangers FC and Ware Cricket Club.
Natwest have split the country into Community areas, with each areas winning application getting £3000. There are also 2 runners-up prizes per area of £1000. Put simply, the winning application is decided on being the one which receives the most votes from the local community and Natwest.
Our application has been grouped into Hertfordshire Community area along with, to date, 30 other successful applications.
In order to vote, you first need to register with the Natwest Community site. This can be done by visiting: http://www.natwest.com/communityforce
Once registered, you will then be asked (after Sept 26th 2011) to vote for your favourite application and up to two others. By submitting at least one to the Bury Rangers application, should be enough to secure the £3000 award.
Put into perspective, to register and then vote takes approx 5 minutes of your time. Whereas if successful, the benefits will last for many years.
So what are you waiting for? Register and help Bury Rangers FC win the award!
