Chris Sycamore had been a coach at Bury for nearly 10 years and also helped coach an adult all inclusive team at Hertford Town FC. Alongside this Chris was part of Hertford Rugby Club coaching team as well. A massive part of our community and will be missed by so many.
We are sure you will all want to share our condolences with his family at this sad time.
As a sign of respect and to celebrate Chris's life we would ask you to join us at the presentation on Sunday and hold a minutes applause.

“It is with great sadness that the club reports the death of one of its former players Charlie Ferguson, who passed away unexpectedly this weekend whilst at University.
Charlie played for the Bury Stripes for many seasons under the tutelage of Graham Amner and Phil Spears, and was a naturally gifted left midfielder.
He had a great smile and was part of a team collective, which when it gelled, the sum of the parts was greater than the whole.
The club wishes to pass on our deepest sympathies to his mother Alison and the family”
This season's Club Presentation Day will be on Sunday, 19th June 2016, at Hertford Theatre. More details later.Read more
From The Mid Herts Rural Minors League .......
The Mid Herts Rural Minors League are pleased to be able to inform you that we have arranged another Club Linesman Workshop to help your willing volunteers learn a little bit more about how to “run the line”.
The Workshop will be delivered by Hertfordshire FA’s Referee Development Officer (and ex-Premier League and FIFA Assistant Referee) Phil Sharp
We have booked the main hall of the Shamrock Club in Welwyn Garden City for Thursday the 10th of December 2015 from 8.00 to 10.00 pm. The doors will be open from 7.45 pm.
The Workshop is intended for the adult volunteers who need the help. It is not designed for already qualified Referees or for players who would like to become Referees. It is genuinely aimed at the keen adults who would like some helpful advice. Therefore, there is a minimum age of 18 for attendees.
Phil will make the evening fun, informative and active! I’m sure everyone who attends will learn a lot and have a good time. Participants do not need to bring anything along as everything needed will be provided.
In order to book a place, please ask your Club Linesmen to send an email to Gordon Marshall, our Referee Development OfficerRead more
